OKNOPLAST co-organised the Poland-wide campaign “Cancer. It’s curable!”, whose objective was to encourage the citizens of Poland to undergo cancer screening and preventive tests and to destroy the myth that cancer is always a death sentence. The campaign involved well-known Polish actors, athletes and cultural personalities. The campaign was promoted in the press, via Internet, on outdoor carriers and in TV spots. The “Cancer. It’s curable!” campaign was accompanied by cartoons drawn by Henryk Sawka, with Zbigniew Zamachowski and Bronisław Cieślak providing the voice acting. The project also included free medical examinations and consultations in shopping malls and at a musical roadshow, as well as popularity contests, family runs and a live concert from an international music star.
