On 3 October 2024, OKNOPLAST ceremoniously marked its 30th anniversary with a memorable jubilee gala held in Kraków. Joined by trading partners from Poland and across Europe, the company reviewed three decades of activity and outlined its plans for the future. The evening offered a moment to reflect on a history shaped by innovation and growth-progress that has enabled the OKNOPLAST Group to become one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of PVC and aluminium windows, now present in 21 European markets.
In recent years the firm has posted dynamic sales growth and strengthened its leading position in the window‑joinery industry. Even in the face of global challenges such as the pandemic and supply‑chain disruptions, OKNOPLAST not only maintained steady production but also broadened its product range.
During the gala, CEO Mikołaj Placek proudly announced a strategic step: expanding the OKNOPLAST Group’s portfolio to include the luxury wooden and wood‑aluminium joinery brand Hrachowina. The Austrian producer-whose history spans more than a century-supplies top‑quality products to the most demanding customers. Hrachowina’s offerings will shortly debut on the Italian, German and French markets, opening new opportunities in the premium segment. On the night, commemorative statuettes were presented to the company’s best trading partners in recognition of their contribution to OKNOPLAST’s international development and success.
The jubilee gala was exceptional artistically as well. A stunning artistic setting inspired by the “Światy” (“Worlds”) campaign underscored the event’s unique character. Guests were treated to a performance by the renowned choreographic duo Natalia Jóźwiak and Sebastian Piotrowicz, whose dance-accompanied by a cellist-perfectly conveyed OKNOPLAST’s philosophy of offering customers more than mere products: emotions, aesthetics and security.
The evening’s artistic highlight was a live installation created by visual artist Justyna Smoleń. Before the audience’s eyes, this award‑winning artist deconstructed porcelain figurines and objects, combining them with handmade ceramics. The creative blend of ballet, classical music and sculpture immersed guests in an atmosphere of elegance and subtlety, further emphasising the event’s distinctive nature.
After the formal proceedings, guests enjoyed an extraordinary concert. Patrycja Markowska took to the stage and invited her musical friends-Baron and Tomson of the band Afromental, along with Urszula, one of Poland’s most recognisable singers-for a joint performance. Their vibrant renditions infused the celebration with energy and joy, underscoring the special, anniversary character of the occasion.
